At The Children’s Home of Kingston, our mission is simple yet profound: to provide a structured environment where boys can explore and address their challenges, build healthy relationships, and prepare for successful futures. We recognize that every child we serve is more than just a statistic—each one has the potential to overcome adversity and make a positive impact on their community and family.
It is truly a joy to serve these young men and be part of their journey. The work we do is special, it’s more than just a job; and it isn't just about helping young people today, it’s about setting them on a path to thrive in society, whether that means returning to their families, entering the workforce, or becoming a positive force in their communities.
Despite what society may sometimes assume, we believe in the power of transformation. We emphasize family support to ensure that every child is empowered to return home as soon as it is appropriate, and we strive to create a balanced, nurturing community environment where positive decision-making becomes second nature. Our program is designed to build the skills and confidence these young men need to succeed long-term, both in their personal lives and careers.
I am deeply honored to lead this incredible organization, and I am proud of the transformative work we do every day. With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit administration, children and family welfare, and mental health services, I remain deeply committed to providing youth-centered, family-driven care. I know that the real measure of success is not just in the numbers, but in the lives, we touch, the futures we help shape, and the communities we help strengthen.
At The Children’s Home of Kingston, we are not just preparing youth for the future; we are empowering them to shape it. As I continue to grow in my leadership journey, my focus remains on fostering environments where every young man can succeed—because they deserve nothing less.
